Adoptable Furries

Perhaps you would like to help, but do not have the time to care for a furry friend of your own. We can always use any financial donations you might be able to assist us with. Donations go toward housing, nutritional needs, medical needs and exercise needs of the chins. Please consider a donation to assist us with our work.

This Page is the Chins Available For Adoption.

Fiona is a standard female that we have guessed at about 5 years old. She was born with Glaucoma and had to have one of her eyes removed. She is very sweet and very easy to hold. She would be good for a first time chin owner. Photos to come soon...

Katie, Wayne and Peanut are a trio of sugar gliders. They are a bit overweight and the new owners will have to adhere to a strict weight loss plan. Katie & Wayne are both very friendly and easy to handle. Peanut on the other hand is very vocal and threatened by people. She will take a bit to warm up to anyone. They are all 8 years old and have not been handled for the last 4 years. We will continue to work with them to make them well rounded gliders.

These three female degus were transferred in from the Humane society of Jefferson county. They are a bonded trio of sisters and should stay together. They are easy to handle and do not bite. They love their wheel and veggies are their favorite treat!

Bruiser     Snowball

Snowball and Bruiser are a pair of 9 year old bonded males. They were surrendered due to allergies. While chinchillas have no dander themselves to make their owners allergies act up, the materials that they live in and with can effect allergy sufferers. The bedding, hay and dust can be a problem for some people. They have not been handled in 4 years and will need a bit of consistent handling to get them used to people again. Bruiser is a silver Mosaic and Snowball is a pink white.

Tourmaline

Tourmaline is a standard violet carrier about a year old. She is a bit timid and a bit unsure of the world around her, but one you are holding her, she is calm & sweet. She has always been a solo chin and has been added to a pair to see if she does better with other chins. Tourmaline is now caged with Callie & Fiona.

Lolli is a big beautiful violet female born 7/06. She is a very grouchy chin. She would enjoy a less active household as she is more of a one person chin. She can not be caged with other chins as she is very aggressive toward them and will injure them. She needs to go to an experienced chin owner that will be able to work with her special needs.
